Vam Cong Industrial Park is located on Nguyen Van Cung Street, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province. The project is located at the confluence of Hau River and Cai San – Gach Gia River, adjacent to National Highway 91 An Giang – Can Tho; only 3km from My Thoi – An Giang Seaport and 8km from Long Xuyen city center.
In terms of location, Vam Cong Industrial Park is located in the Southeast of Long Xuyen City. In the future, when the project connecting National Highway 91 and the Long Xuyen city bypass with a total investment of more than 2,100 billion VND comes into operation, it will shorten the distance from Vam Cong Industrial Park to Long Xuyen City. At the same time, the Chau Doc – Can Tho – Soc Trang expressway project comes into operation (specifically the Chau Doc – Long Xuyen section) will reduce pressure on National Highway 91, attracting workers, experts, personnel… to live and work in the industrial parks here.
Currently, Vam Cong Industrial Park is 180km from Ho Chi Minh City, but with its strategic location in the region, along with the Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway expected to be completed in 2021, it will shorten travel time, strongly promoting economic exchange between Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta in general and Long Xuyen City in particular.
In recent times, An Giang has focused on investing in infrastructure for smooth traffic. The investment in the construction of a road project worth more than VND 2,100 billion aims to reduce traffic congestion and accidents, ensure smooth and continuous road traffic on National Highway 91 through Long Xuyen City, gradually connecting the Mekong Delta region’s traffic network according to the planning approved by the Government. At the same time, promoting the effectiveness of projects that have been and are being implemented, such as: Cao Lanh Bridge, Vam Cong Bridge, the Cao Lanh Bridge – Vam Cong Bridge connection route and Lo Te – Rach Soi route, the investment project to upgrade the entire N1 route (about 140km) through the provinces of Long An, Dong Thap, An Giang and Kien Giang…

Within a radius of 1-5 km from Vam Cong Industrial Park are a series of amenities such as: shopping centers, supermarkets, markets, schools of all levels, medical facilities, administrative centers… in Long Xuyen City, providing an advantage of easy travel for living and working in the industrial park.
In particular, in recent years, Long Xuyen City (An Giang) is being targeted by investors thanks to its complete infrastructure and increasingly developing economic environment.
In 2019, An Giang ranked first in import-export turnover in the region, accounting for 70% of the total border trade turnover of 10 provinces bordering Cambodia. Meanwhile, Long Xuyen City – the provincial city, the economic, cultural, scientific and technological center of An Giang is also the second largest city in the Mekong Delta (MD) after Can Tho City. Thanks to that, public utilities are continuously built such as Vincom Plaza shopping center, education and healthcare systems, administrative agencies and markets in Long Xuyen City… helping residents of the area access modern conveniences every day.
