On June 6, 2020 , IDICO Corporation – JSC held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Huu Thanh Industrial Park in Duc Hoa district, Long An province. The groundbreaking ceremony was honored by the presence of many important guests including Mr. Truong Tan Sang – Former President, Mr. Pham Van Ranh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Long An province, Mr. Tran Van Can – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Long An province, representatives from the Government Office, Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Location of Huu Thanh Long An Industrial Park Project is located in Huu Thanh Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province. Huu Thanh Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 3469/QD-UBND dated August 26, 2016 of Long An Provincial People’s Committee. Long An Economic Zone Management Board granted the first Investment Certificate for the project of construction and business of infrastructure of the Industrial Park on August 16, 2019. This project has a total investment capital of more than 5,253 billion VND and a planning area of 524.14 hectares , of which the industrial land area for lease is 395.41 hectares .

Huu Thanh Industrial Park has invested in building an infrastructure system to meet operational requirements, including:

Power supply system: The investor has built a 110/22kV internal transformer station with a power supply capacity of up to 189 MVA, ensuring power supply for factories operating in the industrial park.
Clean water supply system: Guaranteed through a clean water transfer station, water supply from Phu My Vinh water supply plant with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day and night. The system includes a distribution tank and water supply pipes to each plot of land in the industrial park.
Wastewater treatment system : Invested in building a centralized wastewater treatment system with a phase 1 treatment capacity of 4,000 m3/day and night and the ability to increase capacity according to the operating needs of factories in the area. The wastewater treatment plant meets standard B for input wastewater.

INVESTMENT INCENTIVES AT HUU THANH IDICO LONG AN INDUSTRIAL PARK

Corporate income tax rate: 20%.
Tax incentives: Enterprises will be entitled to a preferential tax rate of 17% for 10 consecutive years, starting from the first year of revenue from the project. After this period, the tax rate will change to 20%.
Tax exemption for 2 years and 50% reduction for the next 4 years, calculated from the year of taxable income.
The tax exemption and reduction period is calculated continuously from the first year of taxable income from the project.
– In case the enterprise has no taxable income in the first 3 years (from the year of revenue from the project), the tax exemption and reduction period will start from the 4th year.
– Information on tax incentives is based on Decree No. 218/2013/ND-CP dated December 26, 2013 and No. 118/2015/ND-CP dated November 12, 2015.
Import tax exemption: Enterprises are exempted from import tax for imported goods according to the provisions of Article 16 of the Law on Export Tax and Import Tax No. 45/2005/QH11 dated June 14, 2005 and Article 12 of Decree No. 87/2010/ND-CP dated August 13, 2010 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Export Tax and Import Tax.
